My Chum Trumps Your Stark Raven?
I wonder if Raven-Symone Pearman of The View is onto something? Here is her latest theory about the Kathryn Steinle murder, courtesy of the skeptical folks at the link below:
Raven-Symoné Pearman of ABC’s “The View” showed her conspiratorial side when she told her co-hosts that the murder of Kate Steinle, 32, by an illegal alien in San Francisco might have been connected to, if not orchestrated by, Trump’s campaign.
According to The Wrap, the newest co-host of ABC’s daytime talk show started explaining her theory by weighing in on why she thinks Trump is running for president. Apparently it’s all a vast conspiracy to keep the public focused on drama.
“Nobody is talking about the real issues because [Trump] is sucking up the air for everyone. He knows how to manipulate the industry,” Raven-Symoné said, “and I’m that person who thinks that he was put there by maybe Republicans or Democrats as a mole to just get people’s opinions and stir stuff up so that we don’t talk about the real issues.”
Pearman says “they” have a secret plan to plant a braggadocio billionaire into the GOP primary. Of course, no one, including Pearman, seems to know who “they” are.
But then things got even weirder — and more ridiculous — when she theorized about how Steinle’s murder played into the conversation about immigration.
Francisco Sanchez, an illegal immigrant who allegedly found a federal agent’s gun and fatally shot Steinle, is apparently part of the secretive plot to keep Trump in the spotlight, according to Pearman.
“During the passionate back-and-forth, Raven-Symoné declared that she found it “interesting that this happened as soon as Trump started to talk about this; he randomly found a gun from a federal agent.”
Is she suggesting that “they” also planted the gun?
Scoff at your own peril! Remember Donald Trump is a multi-billionaire. He can buy anything he wants. (Think, “You want a toe? I can get you a toe!) And, the alleged killer did not have a record of criminal violence, and all witnesses agree that he did not exchange any words with Steinle, or have any contact at all with her. That, in itself, is pretty strange. So are the circumstances of the murder. According to the Daily Mail:
The man accused of killing a woman at a popular San Francisco pier said the gun went off by accident after he found it wrapped in a T-shirt and picked it up.Francisco Sanchez said he was walking on Pier 14 after taking sleeping pills he found in a dumpster. He claimed to have found the T-shirt and picked it up, only for the gun inside it to go off three times, fatally injuring Kathryn Steinle, who was known as Kate.
So while I don’t buy into her theory, I would not be too quick to dismiss it out of hand. Stranger things have occurred! You decide! But in the meantime, “Can you prove it didn’t happen?”

Plan 9’s a stinker. It stinks so bad it’s wonderful.
Nothing like those Grade B 1950 and 1960 SF movies to liven up an evening. I would have “Worst Movies Ever” parties at my house. Price of admission was a copy of the movie you thought was the worst ever. We would fast forward to the juiciest scenes, then play them back in slow motion, and laugh and laugh and laugh. Amazing what slow motion reveals in some oldies. Plan 9 and Attack of the 50-foot Woman were staples. A good time was had by all.

I like them, too. TCM runs several of them at a time once a month or so. I just DVR’d The Man From Planet X, They Came From Beyond Space, and Invisible Invaders. Plus, youtube has a lot of them in full. Which, if you have a Roku, you can bring them up on your TV. That is why I like to link them in the FootNotes, so that people can find out about their availability, and watch them. I often download them, so I can watch them whenever I want to.

Why does everybody think I’m Squeeky??? She works for me. She helps edit the articles here. She helped set the website up. She loves those stupid footnotes and insists on putting them in for all the ESLs. We are BFF’s as she puts it, but we are two separate and distinct individuals. I got my avatar and web name from her, but she wasn’t using it at the time.
